  • Day 1 - Depart for south Luangwa

    Meet and greet the Lusaka Int’ll airport and after immigration formalities connect to your Mfuwe flight for South Luangwa and overnight ta Thornicroft Lodge, Full board

  • Day 2 - Walking safari

    Start the day with an early morning walking safari and . Night driver and overnight Thornicroft Lodge, Full board.

  • 3&4 - Game drive and night drive

    An early morning 4hr game drive and 4hr afternoon/night drive (per full day stay) in South Luangwa NP with an expert safari guide in an open 4WD vehicle. Overnight at Thornicroft Lodge, full board. South Luangwa to be one of the greatest wildlife sanctuaries in the world, and not without reason. The concentration of animals around the Luangwa River, and its oxbow lagoons, is among the most intense in Africa. The Luangwa River is the most intact major river system in Africa and is the life-blood of this 9059 km2 Park. The Park hosts a wide variety of wildlife, birds and vegetation. The now famous ‘walking safari’ originated in this Park and is still one of the finest ways to experience Africa’s pristine wilderness first-hand.

  • Day 5 - Depart for lower zambezi

    Start off very early in the morning for Lower Zambezi . Late arrival and overnight at Kiambi Lodge. One of the wildest parks in Zambia, Lower Zambezi National park covers an areas of 4092 square kilometer. The Park lies opposite the famous Mana Pools Reserve in Zimbabwe, so the whole area on both sides of the Zambezi River is a massive wildlife sanctuary. Most of the game is concentrated along the valley floor. Enormous herds of elephant, some up to 100 strong, are often seen at the river’s edge.

  • Day 6- visit Lake Kariba

    Visit to the Lake Kariba and overnight at Kiambi Lodge.This is Africa’s largest man made dam, 226km long and in places up to 40 km wide. It offers spectacular views, stunning sunsets, great fishing, boating opportunities, water sports , great fishing , or wonderful relaxing just soaking up the sunshine. It provides considerable electric power to both Zambia and Zimbabwe and supports a thriving commercial fishing industry.

  • Day 7 - Game drive

    Full day game drive and overnight Kiambi Lodge on full board. GAME DRIVES We do game drives twice a day. One departs at sunrise and the afternoon drive (partly a night drive) leaves at approximately 2 hours before sunset. Drives are 3.5 to 4 hours long. Our vehicles are located in the park, which is a short boat trip across the Kafue River so game drives depart from within the park daily.

  • Day 9-11 - Fishing trips, Boat cruises/sunset cruises, Walking safaris

    Day’s activities and overnight Mukambi Lode of the Fig Tree, full board. FISHING TRIPS – Mukambi Only Fishing trips by boat take place at any time of day and are approximately 2.5 hours long. Only basic equipment and bait included. It is advisable for professional fishermen to bring their own equipment if possible. BOAT CRUISES/SUNSET CRUISES – Mukambi only These can also take place at any time of the day but we also have a scheduled Sunset Cruise each evening. WALKING SAFARIS Walks leave around an hour after sunrise to avoid the heat of the day. The walks take place in the Kafue National Park itself and are approximately 3 hours (unfortunately not available due to the wet conditions from approximately Dec to May).

  • Day 12 - Transfer to Victoria falls

    After breakfast transfer to Victoria Falls and overnight at Taita Falcon Lodge, full board.

  • 13 - Morning Victoria falls tour and evening sunset cruise

    Morning tour of Victoria Fall and evening sunset cruise and Overnight at Taita Falcon Lodge, full board. The town of Livingstone was moved from its original site at the Old Drift in 1905, due to malarial outbreaks and moved to its healthier location on Constitution hill. The town was carefully planned with wide streets lined with trees; a lot of the original architecture is still in place today. Evening river cruise The cruise is along the river boundary for just over 2 hours. All the cruises include beverages and snacks.

  • Day 14 - Elephant experience

    Take the ride of your life on an elephant back. View wildlife from another level, and ride the wilderness’ very own 4x4. These majestic creatures will take you through the bush and enable you to see game from another perspective at our very own Victoria Falls Private Game Reserve. Allow yourself the opportunity to ride, learn about and interact with these majestic creatures, on a 55 – 60 minute Elephant experience. Rest of the day at leisure for shopping and overnight at Taita Falcon Lodge, full board.

  • Day 15 - Leisure

    Day at leisure and overnight at Taita Falcon Lodge, full board.

  • Day 16 - Transfer to the airport

    Transfer to the airport for your flight back home
