  • Day 1 - Transfer to Casa

    Meet and greet in Blantyre local bus terminal and transfer to Casa Mia for overnight on bed and breakfast.

    Blantyre is the country’s centre of finance and commerce,. It adjoins the town of Limbe and is known for its British colonial architecture and nearby parks and reserves. On Chichiri Hill, the Museum of Malawi (Chichiri Museum) has exhibits on natural history and ethnography, and also hosts traditional dances. Colonial Mandala House, built in 1882, houses the Society of Malawi Library and Archive

  • Day 2 - Depart for Mount Mulanje

    After breakfast you will drive for 65km to Mount Mulanje. On arrival, you will begin your hike up to the plateau. This a 5 – 6 hours hike with the first four hours being steep but gradually eases to a comfortable hike. Overnight at CCAP hut on full board.

  • Day 3 - Chambe basin & Likubula

    After breakfast to view the Chambe basin before descending via the waterfall and natural swimming pools to Likubula. Transfer to Game Haven for overnight on full board.

  • Day 4 - Satemwa Tea Estate

    After breakfast visit Satemmwa Tea Estate and o after lunch depart for overnight at Zomba Kuchae Inn, full board.

  • Day 5 - Zomba Day Tour

    Some of the most interesting places to visit while you are here are the botanical gardens and the central market. Zomba was the capital city until 1975 when Lilongwe was declared the new capital. The Zomba market is regarded as the most colorful in Malawi. There are several hiking trails, Williams falls, Mandala falls. Emperor's viewpoint and the Queen view point. overnight at Zomba Kuchae Inn, full board.

  • Day 6 - Game drive at Liwonde National Park

    Liwonde National Park is 5 hours drive. Arrival will be in time for lunch.Late afternoon game drive and overnight at Mvuu Camp, full board.

  • Day 7 - Morning walking safari & Boat safari

    Morning walking safari followed by an afternoon boat safari Overnight at Mvuu Camp, full board.

  • Day 8 - Morning & Evening Game drive

    Liwonde National Park is Malawi’s’ finest Park. Hippos bask in slow moving pools and crocodiles lurk on mudflats. The trees crowd the river, pressing in on it in lush, exotic green dampness. The birdlife distinguishes Liwonde as a nature experience. With a resident and migratory population of well over 300 species, many rare among them, Liwonde is a paradise for those passionate about life on the wing. Here is the dream of Africa that has lured explorers along this very river into the heart of Africa. The Shire River does not dry up like so many other African rivers. Thousands of hippos and crocodiles live in these abundant waters. Liwonde Nat. Park also boasts of the largest concentration of hippo in Africa. Antelope, waterbuck, impala and bushbuck grazing on the floodplain as are waterbuck, sable, impala whilst herds of elephant drink, and bath in the river. The highlight of a visit to Liwonde is a river cruise. An astonishing number of bird species inhabit the park, among which are the brilliant Lillian's Love birds, the Brown Breasted Barbet, Pel's Fishing Owl and Palmnut Vulture.

  • Day 9 - Transfer to Cape Maclear

    Early morning transfer by road to Cape Maclear and transfer and transfer to Mumbo Island. You may choose to take the lodge’s boat or alternative take the canoes for the 10 km to the lodge. Overnight at Mumbo Island Lodge, full board.

  • Day 10&11 - Leisure

    Days at leisure and overnights Mumbo Island Lodge, full board.

    Lake Malawi formerly known as Lake Nyasa is the third largest lake in Africa. The lake contains a greater variety of indigenous species of fish variety of over 500 species mainly of cyclid family. Most of this fishes are endemic to Lake Malawi. Half the south-eastern section of the lake belongs to Mozambique with the border running through the centre of the water, while Tanzania lies along the north-eastern shore. Lake Malawi bears many qualities of a sea except salty water and for much of the year it is placid and welcoming, while at other times strong winds and storms can produce surfable waves.

  • Day 12 - Transfer to lilongwe

    Transfer to Lilongwe and overnight at Ufulu Gardens, on bed and breakfast.

  • Day 13 - Depart for Nampula

    After breakfast, depart for a mini tour of Lilongwe as we head to the airport for your flight to Nampula.
