  • Day 1 - Meet at Maputo International Airport

    Meet and greet at the Maputo International Airport and transfer Delgado City Bay Inn on bed and breakfast for overnight.

  • Day 2 - Maputo City tour

    This Maputo City tour will take you to the Mafalala cultural tour. Walk on the narrow streets made famous by the rusted iron sheets a testimony of the times when the local inhabitants were prohibited from building with bricks and mortar. You will also visit the natural museum, Feima Craft market , Casa de Ferro, The cathedral and after the your will have a traditional meal.

    Maputo, is a port city on the Indian Ocean port with preserved Portuguese colonial architecture. The city’s main land marks include the Independence Square, City Hall, Maputo Fortress, the central market, Tunduru Gardens, and Maputo Railway Station. Maputo is known for its wide avenues lined by jacaranda and acacia trees. Overnight at Delgado City Bay Inn bed and breakfast.

  • Day 3 - Depart with a flight to Beira

    Depart with a flight to Beira. On arrival transfer by road to Gorogosa Nat. park and overnight at Montebelo Gorongosa Lodge & Safari on full board.

  • Day 4&5 - Morning and afternoon game drive

    Morning and afternoon game drive and overnight Montebelo Gorongosa Lodge & Safari on full board. Gorongosa, which is a privileged destination for those who enjoy the natural life, is a region with a vast diversity of fauna and flora with unique environmental characteristics.

  • Day 6 - Depart to Namapula

    Depart with the afternoon flight to Namapula. Arrival will be in the evening. Transfer to Sena Hotel, bed and breakfast.

  • Day 7 - Morning tour of Nampula

    Morning tour of Nampula and at 12.00 depert to Ilha De Mozambique. Overnight at Escondindhiho, bed and breakfast

  • Day 8 - Tour of Ilha de Mozambique

    Ibo Island: lies on the northeast coast and was once an important trading Portuguese trading post in 1754 as the main clearing house for slaves and ivory. Through the narrow streets, you will meet the various ethnic people of this Island. The fort of St Jao Baptistaon the northern side of the island is a fascinating place and is notable for its history. Historic buildings, 3 forts and a beautiful old Catholic church still remain. Traditional silversmiths still operate from the main fort, and you are free to wander about this beautiful island and explore.

  • Day 9 - Depart for Pemba

    Transfer by road to Pemba and overnight at Nautulius, for bed and breakfast.

  • Day 10 - Depart for Ibo island

    After breakfast transfer to Miti Miwiri, Ibo Island via Tanganyanga. Overnight on full board.

  • Day 11 - Tour of Ibo Island

    Tour of Ibo Island and overnight at Miti Miwiri, full board. A tour which will lead you to explore the heart of the village, with its ancient ruins, the magnificent Colonial Portuguese Architecture, its forts and fortress and its palaces still preserved, A tour that will allow the power of imagination to rebuild the greatness and the prestige of Ibo Island in its past time.

    This is where modern Mozambique derived its name. Time seems to have stopped here. The pace is slow and history and culture surrounds you. For its location, it attracted a lot of merchants and it became the most important trading and shipping post to merchants and traders from Europe, Arabia, India, China and Indonesia. Like most of the Mozambican coastal towns, the mixed influence from these different ethic groups is evident in the architecture, religion, customs, social practices, religion, language, dress, dance, cuisine, architecture, language and music. Traditional dhows are still used as means of transport. Ilha de Mozambique is classified as a World Heritage Site.

  • Day 12 - Depart for Island safari

    Depart for an Island safari hopping safari and overnight at Miti Miwiri, full board.

  • Day 13 - Depart for Pemba

    Morning departure for Pemba and overnight at Nautilus and overnight at bed and breakfast.

  • Day 14 - Leisure at Pemba

    Days t and alir and overnight at Nautilus and overnight at bed and breakfast. The coastal town of Pemba lays claim to some of the finest coral reefs in all of southern Africa. Brilliantly coloured coral is but a short swim from the white sands of Wimbe Beach. Divers and snorkellers swim among a myriad of exotic fish in crystal clear water. Naturally, the profusion of seafood makes time spent here a gourmet’s delight. The beaches are wide, sandy and clean, and lined with palm trees. A coral reef protects the beach and guarantees safe swimming as well as good snorkeling.

  • Day 15 - Depart for Airport

    Transfer to the airport for your flight home
