  • Day 1 - Transfer to Monomutapa Hotel

    Pick up from Robert Mugabe Int’ll airport and transfer to Monomutapa Hotel for overnight on bed and breakfast.

  • Day 2 - Depart for Mutarazi Falls

    Depart after breakfast for he 4.5 hours drive to Mutarazi Falls, the highest waterfall in Zimbabwe and the second highest on the Continent. Visitors may leave their vehicles at the carpark and take a short hike to the edge of the escarpment for spectacular views of the waterfalls and the Honde Valley, some 800 metres below.

    The SkyLine is the most beautiful zip line in the world. Depending on the day and weather you may find yourself flying through clouds or crystal clear skies over the 2nd highest waterfall in Africa. At an estimated height of 500m and flying for 400m at 50-70km/h it is both uplifting and exhilarating. he SkyWalk is truly unique, a first for Zimbabwe and the world. The 2 suspension bridges are designed to look like vines above the falls allowing for the first time a full panoramic view of the Mutarazi Falls and its surroundings. The SkyWalk consists of two bridges – the one 30m that take you over the lip of the Falls and the other 90m that is above the entire Falls. If you ever dreamed of walking in midair then this is for you. Activity takes roughly 10 minutes. Overnight at Abefoyle Lodge on full board.

  • Day 3 - Masvingo

    Morning departure from Honde Valley for Masvingo. Arrival will be in time for lunch. After lunch at the hotel, you will visit Kyle’s Dam, St Andrews Church, the smallest church in Zimbabwe, Chesvingo Karanga Village and Rock Paintings. Dinner and overnight at Great Zimbabwe Ruins Lodge, full board.

    Masvingo" means "fort" in Shon, is a province in southeastern Zimbabwe is home to the Great Zimbabwe ruins, a World Heritage site and major tourist attraction. The province is largely populated by members of the Karanga tribe, who are the most populous tribe in Zimbabwe, and are a sub-group of the Shona speaking tribes that also include the Zezuru, Manyika and Ndau. The province is dominated by the Save, Runde, Mwenezi and Limpopo river systems which all either join or drain directly into the Indian Ocean. The only notable mountain range is the Chimanimani Mountain Range in the east. Kopjes, grey and bald in the hot sun, dot the countryside. Mopane trees, drought tolerant and sturdy, are found throughout the province.

  • Day 4 - Great Zimbabwe

    With lunch boxes depart for a tour of Great Zimbabwe and after a picnic lunch you will go for a late afternoon game drive at t Kylee Recreational Park and overnight at Great Zimbabwe Ruins Lodge, full board.

    Great Zimbabwe from which present day Zimbabwe derives its names from, is a ruins city in the south-eastern hills of Zimbabwe near Lake Mutirikwe and the town of Masvingo. It was the capital of the Kingdom of Zimbabwe during the country's Late Iron Ag and home to a cattle-herding people who also became adept at metal-working. Construction on the monument began in the 11th century and continued until the 15th century. The ruins extends over almost 800 ha and is divided into three groups: the Hill Ruins, the Great Enclosure and the Valley Ruins.

    Kyle Recreational Park is 16 900 hectares in extent. Of the total Park area, 9 300 hectares is occupied by the Lake Mutirikwi, at full supply level. The dam was constructed in 1960 and that same year the Park was established. The Park area is bounded on the north by the Beza Range which rises to a height of 1485m. Between this range and Lake Mutirikwi, is an undulating plain averaging 1070m above sea level. The plain terminates in an area of broken hills dividing Lake Mutirikwi into to two main areas: east and west. Four main estuaries are a feature of the lakeshore in the central section of the area. The Park is home to more than 25 species of wild mammals. Some commonly sited animals include; buffalo, common duiker, eland, impala, kudu, reedbuck, warthog, waterbuck, white rhinoceros, wildebeest, zebra, giraffe, squirrel, black backed jackal, leopard, honey badger, rock hyrax , hippopotamus, ostrich, crocodile and porcupine. Some of the rarer species include; ant bear, bushbuck, bush pig, klipsringer, sable and steenbuck.

  • Day 5 - Depart for Harare

    Early transfer back to Harare and connect to your flight back home. Flight not included
