This data is used to maintain and improve the performance of our website and is not sold or shared with third parties for advertising purposes.

We use the information you provide to process your safari enquiry, arrange departure logistics, communicate about your itinerary, issue booking confirmations, and provide support during your trip. Your contact details allow us to respond to questions before and after payment.

With your permission, we may send you relevant travel updates, such as new departure dates, route changes, or seasonal offers, by email. You can unsubscribe from these communications at any time by contacting us or clicking the unsubscribe link in any marketing email.

Payments made through Msafiri Travels are processed via Pesapal, a licensed payment service provider. We do not store your card number, CVV, or full payment credentials. Pesapal's privacy policy governs the handling of payment data during checkout.

We retain a record of your booking reference, payment status, amount paid in USD, and traveler details for a minimum of five years to support legal, tax, and operational requirements. This information is accessible through your guest account and may be referenced in dispute resolution.

Msafiri Travels communicates with guests primarily by email. When you contact us (through the enquiry form, email, or telephone), we retain a record of that correspondence to maintain continuity in planning and support. This helps the team follow up accurately without requiring you to repeat information.

If you use the contact form on our website, your message and contact details are stored securely and used only to respond to your enquiry. We do not share support conversation records with third parties.

Guest accounts are passwordless. You sign in with Google or a one-time code sent to your email, so there is no customer password for us to store. Where staff credentials exist, they are hashed using industry-standard algorithms and never stored in plain text. We use HTTPS across all pages to encrypt data in transit between your browser and our servers.

We take reasonable precautions to protect your personal information from unauthorised access, disclosure, or loss. However, no online system can guarantee absolute security. Msafiri Travels works with a network of licensed guides, accommodation providers, park authorities, and ground handling partners across Tanzania, Zanzibar, Zambia, Malawi, Mozambique, and Zimbabwe. To arrange your safari, we share relevant traveler information, such as names, nationalities, dietary needs, and arrival times, with the partners directly involved in your itinerary.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not share your data with advertisers. Any information shared with travel partners is limited to what is operationally necessary for your trip.

You have the right to request access to the personal information Msafiri Travels holds about you. You may also request correction of inaccurate data, deletion of your account and associated records (subject to legal retention obligations), or restriction of processing in certain circumstances.
